When I'm not at work, I like to...

Spend time with my family, run for exercise/sport, play video games, read novels, travel to new places, go to theme parks, visit famous historical sites, learn about new technology (anything and everything), and spend time in the Smoky Mountains.

Fun Fact(s)

I have seen several Broadway musicals and plays, starring many famous actors and actresses! My favorite Broadway play is Romeo and Juliet, starring Orlando Bloom. My favorite Broadway musical is The Phantom of the Opera. Also, I was born and raised in Anderson County. I graduated from ACHS in 2007.

I am hyper sensitive to people’s emotions. 

What show have you binge-watched lately?

I just recently restarted watching Bones during my treadmill runs. I don’t watch many TV shows, but I am a chronic re-watcher.

Favorite Book or Genre

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I love YA and fantasy novels.

What is something you have done that you are most proud of?

I am most proud of becoming a mother.

Craziest thing I've ever done...

I ran a half marathon back in 2016. I love running, and I try to complete as many races as I can each year.

Why do you like working in the Innovation Academy?

I love working with a team of staff members who truly care about working with teenagers. I also love working with technology and finding innovative ways to help students succeed and graduate high school.
