Fiction: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien and anything by Fredrik Backman. However, I mostly read non-fiction. Recently, “Imperfect Union" by Steve Inskeep.

Why do you like working in the Innovation Academy?

I love the way the staff accepts everyone as part of our family. We support students and show them "tough love" but are always striving to do what is best for our students. The staff truly cares about every student!
